Have Baby, Need Sleep shows you step-by-step how to find and follow your baby's maturing natural biological sleep rhythm so that you can gently teach your little one how to sleep through the night and take solid naps by the time they are 4 months old.
If you are like most of the moms I work with, you may be feeling anxious to get your little one on a solid sleep schedule before your maternity leave ends.
I'm here to tell you that if you are hoping your little one will start sleeping better without you taking intentional steps to guide them in that direction or if they are sleeping pretty well and you are hoping you will be the lucky mom who has a baby who skips the 4 month sleep regression, you unfortunately may soon find out that weeks 12 to 18 is when sleep can suddenly get extremely challenging. The worst part is that this challenging period often hits right when you're heading back to work.
Six years ago, I had a newborn who slept well until she was three months... right when I was going back to work. Things got bad. It wasn't until she was nearly 2 years old that we finally learned how to help her sleep.
Shortly thereafter I took a deep dive into the science of sleep and became a certified sleep consultant.
My second daughter was sleeping through the night by 8 weeks and by taking intentional action as she approached 4 months, we completely avoided the 4 month sleep regression.
We never had to do any formal sleep training.
It was a game-changer.
That's why I created Have Baby, Need Sleep. I understand that each baby learns in a different way and your baby may not follow what was outlined in the book on sleep that you read. I want to be there to help you tweak things each week based on how your little one is responding. I want to take the overwhelm and confusion out of the equation so you can confidently take action and get the sleep you and your baby both need!
With my method, there is no leaving your baby to cry. You won't suddenly have to start putting your little one in the crib for every single nap and all nighttime sleep.
You'll build up to consistent sleep in the crib over several weeks, or even months depending on your little one's age.
You'll get to keep night feeds as long as your little one needs them and still teach healthy sleep habits.
Ultimately you'll be able to put your sweet babe down in the crib awake, they will contently fall asleep for both naps and bedtime, they'll take consistent naps, and they'll sleep through the night.
That's right, you and your baby will be able to count on full nights of sleep.
When you enroll in Have Baby, Need Sleep you'll get lifetime access to my easy to follow process for gently teaching your newborn to sleep through the night and take solid naps in the crib.
First, you'll learn and understand what your baby's sleep should look like week-by-week. You'll learn how to make changes if they're needed.
Next you'll practice the techniques taught in the course without stressing about it or feeling like you have to be by the crib all day long.
Then you'll come to the weekly coaching session to report on how your little one is responding and we'll adjust the technique and timing as needed.
"Through Have Baby, Need Sleep I was able to put a good plan in place from the beginning that made teaching my daughter healthy sleep habits and laying that foundation so much easier." - Caroline

Pacifiers can be a great soothing aid for babies and kids who find sucking very soothing. Eventually, however, you will need to breakup with the pacifier. This guide will help you decide if you should do it sooner or later (you choose) and then give you the tools you need to make the breakup.
It doesn't have to be one or the other. You can have a baby who is well-rested on a schedule and have the freedom to live your live. Learn why I believe there is great freedom in having a schedule.
This is a fantastic program for new moms with a new baby. I felt like I had no clue what to do to help a baby be set up for solid sleep (and I didn't want to read any of the books...boring!). I learned a lot from the online lesson content and loved the opportunity to ask questions and interact during the weekly Q&A. Allison's approach is simple and effective. Never once did I feel like I had to become a sleep sergeant or listen to my baby cry it out for hours on end. I learned how to give my baby the appropriate assistance to sleep, but also how to give him some space too when he needed it. We are so thankful for your help!"
- Kelsey Kovalcik, Mom of Owen
I have learned so much about sleep and love how approachable Allison is. Allison always has a suggestion for every roadblock we hit!"
- Ashley Jordan, Mom of Kick
"My son Will is almost 8 months and has been sleeping like a dream since 8 weeks— and I owe it all to you and your newborn class!"
- Emily Fisher, Mom of Will
"I really liked learning the tools for how to help prepare my baby for the transition to the crib and scheduled sleep, as I didn't know anything about the differentiations that happen before 6 weeks and after 6 weeks."
- Kate Lynn Nemett, Mom of Rose
Having a new baby comes with unexpected expenses and there really wasn’t the money in our budget to do this course. Allison makes it affordable with a payment plan and can you really put a price on sleep for the whole family? I can’t say enough good things about this course! Allison was and still is there for me every step of the way to answer questions and make suggestions about what I can do differently. My baby’s sleep was all over the place. I had to hold him for most naps and he would only sleep 10-15min at a time. Now he sleeps 13 hours at night, in his crib, and can put himself to sleep! Yes, I put the time and effort in but I would be lost without Allison!"
- Cassy Leadbeater, Mom of Colton
"I first heard of Have Baby, Need Sleep on Facebook from the free live session. Our daughter was right around 6 weeks old and we were struggling with a colicky baby and that lead to an overtired baby that struggled with both daytime and nighttime sleep. It seemed like no matter what we tried we could not console her or get her to get some quality sleep. We took a leap of faith and paid for the program right away. That was by far the best decision we have made as new parents. We have learned so much over the past few months that I had no clue about such as sleep cycles, wake times, self soothing, etc. Every tip that we have gotten has worked like a charm. I have such faith in this program. I recommend it to all my mom friends and am not afraid to say yes, I paid for a sleep coach and my baby has been sleeping all night in her crib since 9 weeks old and she puts herself to sleep for naps too! My daughter is a completely different and happy baby now that she gets good quality sleep. You simply canβt put a price on that." "

"When I heard about this course I happened to be pregnant with number 3 and did not hesitate for a second to join. It's been everything I hoped it would be... and actually more." - Carly
"Working with Allison and Sleep and Wellness Coach was wonderful! Going into the newborn course, I realized how little I actually knew about infant sleep and creating healthy sleep habits. She is a wealth of information and truly helps guide you through the challenging times and celebrates with you with every accomplishment and progression. We went from feeding and rocking our daughter to sleep to having her put herself to sleep in her crib and sleeping 12-13 hours a night!""
